Specialists are invited from industry and academia for additional lectures for the students in the college. These special lectures provide a different perspective regarding the course material and lessons to the students delivered from different levels and applications.

 Industrial Visits

Industrial visit is one of the teaching tool that is highly recommended. Interaction and interface with the industry experts help students to relate theory with practice. During the course duration we take our students for Industrial visits. Industry interface enables students to analyze and understand the ever changing dynamics of the industry. These visits provide students with adequate exposure in tackling live problems encountered in the working of an industrial entity. As part of a visit, students see work in progress and relevant demonstrations. Employers also talk to the students about career paths, job descriptions, the schooling needed to enter the field and what employers look for in employees. These visits are designed to provide students with first hand knowledge of a working environment. And even students are encouraged to visit industries during semester break to familiarize themselves with industry practice and even during the semester so that they can get the exposure to the working conditions and industry practices

 Summer Internship

The students are required to undergo summer internship twice during the 3 year programme. Minor project for two months during the second year and major training for 6 months in the third year is a compulsory part of the programme. This enables them to understand theoretical concepts learned at the institution in real-life corporate context. While working on line and time-bound projects they gain first-hand experience of the corporate culture. This process helps them to develop professional attitude, sense of responsibility, analytical ability and leadership qualities. It also helps the industry in assessing the students performance and potential, on the basis of which pre-placement offers are often made.

Summer training for the MCA students took place in the college itself. Students were trained on the “DOT Net “. Expert trainers from the authorized training institutes conducted the training. It has surely enhanced the knowledge of the students as well as made them confident to make real life project
