domestic and international publications. Our faculty members have also presented

With the aim of turning it in to one of the leading
research institutes of India, GNIM has started publishing “Journal of
Management and Information Technology’ (JMIT) (ISSN No 0975-5187). The
objective of the Journal is to encourage researchers from various Universities
and technical institutions / colleges to take up research, & inspire new
researchers who may like to enter different research areas. The
submissions are referred to maintain the research standards.
This effort envisages eliminating isolation, discouraging
redundancy and promoting scientific and research based knowledge aimed to
accelerate overall growth. GNIM’s attempt is to make the Journal, a research
based academic journal. It would provide a forum for academicians as well as
practitioners to put forth their thoughts and experiences and research findings
and encourage interactions through the print midea. The Journal published would
cover all contemporary, functional & inter disciplinary areas of Management and
IT. |

Centre for Research
in Finance (CRIF) |

The institute has established a Centre for Research in Finance (CRIF).
The centre undertakes research in equities and contemporary areas of
finance. The centre has cutting edge tools like “Ace Equity”, the Accord Fintech
database, SPSS17.0 and Minitab. Accord Fintech is an ISO 9001:2008 certified
Software Company, set up by a team of professionals with competencies in
software development and design using a variety of platforms, technologies with
financial domain knowledge. Ace Equity financial data is presented in 10
standardized Industry formats. It provides data on Indian economy and on 17,500
(approx) Indian companies, both listed and unlisted in
India. The centre uses SPSS17.0 and Minitab
which are advanced tools used for mathematical modeling and analysis. Students
of the college are involved in the short term projects.

INFINITY .... College Magazine |

|
On the inaugural occasion of welcoming new students, College has
launched its new magazine “Infinity”. The response of the
students in contributing articles to the magazines was really overwhelming. The
student's articles contributed for the college magazine have shown their
intellectual insight and their excellent command over the language. It was indeed a
tough task to choose a few ones that are printed. |

To encourage the creativity and
self-expression of students, the college magazine 'Infinity' is published
annually. It publishes articles, poems and short stories written by students.
The review of educational, cultural, social and sports events are also reported
in the magazine. It has three sections: English, Hindi and Punjabi. Each section
of the magazine is edited by a student editor, under the supervision of a
faculty member.
